Has anyone used Baytril and had this side effect?

My cat had to take 2 weeks of oral baytril and I was worried she would become blind, but she did not become blind or anything like that. She did have some lethargy and diarrhea from the medicine but that may have also been from her illness. She was 6 months old at the time and her dosage was a bit more than what is recommended on various internet sites. I think it becomes dangerous when it is given for extended periods of time but you never know; reactions can depend on the animal.
