How do I get rid of a bat?

They eat about twice their weight in insects then sleep for about two days then go hunting again. It will most likely not come back after it leaves. When it dose leave go out and spray some ammonia where it was and this should keep it from using the same spot. Having a bat on the side of your building should not be a problem to the inspector. The little brown streak it leaves behind might. But that is easily cleaned. As someone else noted they are a protected species and killing it could get you a fine. Any way they eat the bugs you don,t want flying around your hotel. And they are cool to watch while hunting. Enjoy it. They are harmless.
