Would you respect someone who always did stuff for you and always loaned you money? Would you agree with this?

People who always hit you up for money and only call on you when they need something are to be avoided. A friend might hear you fell off your roof and come over and finish the shingling job. A friend might know you like to do things and ask you to do them sometimes. Two people who I thought were my friends never did **** for me. One friend I had wanted to go on a trip. He paid for the airfare, car rental, hotels and even gave me money to boot. Friends should help you out and call you to do fun things and not just have you do things for them. People who use you don't respect you.
