Should I quit my job with psycho bosses to work for equally crappy company?

Ok so i work for a bunch of psychos. quick story: i've been here a year, i do HR and purchasing, scheduling for construction type co. owned by two men and wife, office manager is one mans son, my new boss is other mans son. my old boss thought they were selling co. so he quit back in sept. i thought they were to so i had found a new job, went there was the accountant, discovered they dont pay all bills in full, and were operating in the red for over a year, decided not to take job. my old/current job offered me $1 more to stay so i did. They didn't end up selling co. Well my new boss (one of the owners sons) has lost his temper already (in less then a month!) and started screaming, cussing and calling me names. 2 hours later he came back apologized about his behavior, said it was unacceptable, etc. now being the ONLY FEMALE employee I am somehow responsible for cleaning the offices, and washing the gl doors to the building. well i had yesterday off. i came in today with a pile of paperwork and messages, and a note on the middle of my monitor from the wife saying she wants it cleaned daily! first thing! well i vacmed, i couldn't sweep cause she locked the broom in her office, and i forgot about gl. though i cleaned it later. She threatened to fire me over it! they gave me a raise to stay and now they treat me like crap! well ive been applying to jobs, but many havent closed yet, etc. there is a co. in town that will hire ANYBODY to answer phones in a call center for credit card point redemption, well they treat their employees bad, their turnover rate is high, they dont rehire once you quit, and many employers around town view them as not real work experience. But they will pay me the same as i make now, work around my college schedule, and offer overtime hours during holidays. Should i go apply there? i've been saving applying there, and i know they will hire me, for when i get fired from a job, laid-off whatever, and desperately need a job, they are my fall back. well at my current work they have made me cry twice in the last 2 weeks! im major stressed. should i quit to work for this other crappy co.? or should i wait to hear from a different company and in the mean time wait it out, to either find something better, or get fired? i've never been fired before (I've worked for 5 years different jobs, never been fired, i'm a good worker!). do i wait it out, hope i get one of the many better jobs i applied for? or go apply at the crappy co? i'm worried if i go to the crappy job, then get a better one and quit, they wont rehire me and what happens if i ever desperately need a job?! i like having it as my fallback. so should i stick it out? or go apply? im worried about being fired, because i'd hate to have that mark on my resume, and this job stresses me out seriously! but i like having a fall back! what do you think?
