Oh my god, my hair. How can I style it?

I am a black girl, i do not hav money to afford a stylist and even if i did i do not think that i would go to one because most can't e trusted. So i have to do my own hair. It's uneven and flat but i have a good amount of it. it's about sholder length and i wash it everyday and i use dr. mirical products and i put a kiddie perm in it. All i do is pin it up and go. it's not cute or up to date. i don't know how to part it or wht i can do to imporve the style. I know that this question may be hard to answer, but i would like to know if there are any web sites that i can get an idea as to where i can start. I dont have girls to tell me how or what i can do or a mom for that mattr. i know that i need help so please find it in your heart. thank you.
