What does this entry in my yearbook mean?

Your sense of humor brings (provides) great enjoyment some days and great sadness -- it means that she will remember you most for your humor and there will be times that it will make him/her laugh and some days it will make him/her miss you that it will "bring them great sadness". It's not a bad thing what your teacher wrote on your yearbook...just that she/he will miss you.
