(Marginally) Good Question #3- Slavery, Gender, and mixed race children?

i would venture a guess that it wasnt about the children at all...................it was more a message to white males!!!! white males being the dominant group and deterring them from engaging in such practices. if the people who run the country are led to believe that such practices are an abomination, their beliefs and votes and legislative practices will mirror such opinions. seems like a calculated way to make sure white males remain the dominant group. all opinion of course.
