I didn't get where i am today (part 19i)?

The early 90s for me were about what you expect from a young American. Mostly grunge, so called alternative (but really mainstream), and g-funk era rap. I think I remember Catherine Wheel and I've heard of the BoDeans, the rest not so much. I like this series for that. Barring the really famous bands, I have very little conception of British music after 1980 or so.
