How much money to live in the Bath area?

How much do you need to make per year to live comfortably in the Bath and Notheast Somerset area. By comfortably I mean be able to pay rent, utilities, food, and still be able to vacation twice a year and go out to dinner, movies, etc. 3 times a week and have savings for retirement. I guess having a car is also a factor if I choose to live outside the city in the countryside.
